The GE / Bently Nevada 3300 XL 5/8 mm Proximitor Sensor is part of a comprehensive transducer system that includes the 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor Sensor. This system is designed to provide an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and a conductive surface, enabling accurate measurement of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) parameters.
Primary Applications:
- Vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines.
- Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
The 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system meets the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard (4th Edition) for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. It supports complete interchangeability of components, eliminating the need for individual calibration or matching of parts.
Compatibility:
- Backward Compatibility: The sensor is compatible with earlier 3300 series components and can be used with 5 mm probes where an 8 mm probe may not fit.
