Nvidia's Growing Influence on Industrial Automation

Nvidia evolved from a pure GPU company, known for its gaming products, into a full-stack company. Today, its suite of solutions is becoming one of the most important in the industrial automation space, with recent developments in AI, digital twins, and robotics, among others. This also helps manufacturers digitally transform in pursuit of Industry 4.0 goals.

Strategic Collaboration with Rockwell Automation

New to the partnership, Rockwell Automation is promising to revolutionize industrial architecture. By using Nvidia's Omniverse Cloud APIs along with Rockwell's Emulate3D, this collaboration turbocharges simulation capabilities that will allow quicker, more predictive factory analyses, thus lowering time-to-market while simultaneously improving operational efficiency.

Siemens and Nvidia: Advancing the Industrial Metaverse

Siemens further extends the collaboration in realizing the industrial metaverse with Nvidia. By providing access to Nvidia's Omniverse Cloud within Siemens' single-source-of-truth product lifecycle management platform, Xcelerator, Siemens enables an AI-driven creation of digital twin experiences. A very telling example of what generative AI does to visual industrial data, making these models way more approachable and intuitive.

Schneider Electric: Optimizing Data Center Infrastructure for AI

Schneider Electric is collaborating with Nvidia on software and hardware integration. With an increasingly strong focus on Edge AI, the collaboration will help present AI data center reference designs featuring Nvidia accelerated computing clusters. Consequently, there would be the enhancement of data processing, engineering simulation, energy applications, and a vast amount of other applications working within an ecosystem.

Aveva Teams Up with Nvidia to Improve Virtual Simulation

Aveva, a Schneider Electric-owned company, is looking to integrate its digital twin platform with Nvidia Omniverse. It will help make virtual simulation and collaboration a seamless process. The aim will be to let designers and engineers work together in a seamless environment to speed up complex system designs and cut time to market.

Universal Robots and MiR: Transforming Robotics with Nvidia Technology

Nvidia, in partnership with Teradyne Robotics, including Universal Robots and MiR, is going to revolutionize robotics applications. Universal Robots now uses the accelerated computing of Nvidia to power its UR5e cobot platform for faster path planning. The Jetson AGX Orin-powered Pallet Jack by MiR combines data from cameras and LiDAR sensors to enable autonomous navigation.
